Job summary

Qualifications

• High school diploma; associate degree preferred.
• 1 year minimum in customer service or sales.
• Experience in cash register operation.
• Computer skills including Microsoft Outlook and sales database program preferred.
• Excellent interpersonal and ability to interact with a diverse audience.
• Ability to handle problems in a timely, professional manner.
• Excellent customer service and telephone skills.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Ability to work in a team yet also independently.

Responsibilities

• Drive admission, membership, and ticket sales in person or over the phone.
• Process admissions, memberships, and ticket transactions with cash handling and accuracy.
• Utilize the garden’s systems to process memberships and guest records.
• Verify membership status and communicate benefits and promotions.
• Promote memberships and event add-ons to guests.
• Assist guests with questions and guide them to appropriate departments.
• Support tours, events, and guest introductions as needed.
• Record guest feedback and communicate improvements to the team.
