Job summary

Daniel Stowe Conservancy seeks a Retail Associate to join our Garden Shops, Big Leaf Café + Shop, and related locations. The role focuses on delivering outstanding guest experiences, managing transactions, and promoting merchandise across multiple retail venues.

The ideal candidate will have at least 1 year in customer service, a passion for our mission, and flexibility to work evenings and weekends. ABC alcohol training is required before confirmation of employment, with opportunities to

Qualifications

Minimum of a high school diploma.
Minimum of 1 year in customer service or sales.
Service industry experience serving alcohol and coffee drinks preferred.
Able to work nights, weekends, and some federal holidays.
Must obtain ABC Responsible Alcohol Seller/Server Training certificate before employment confirmation.

Responsibilities

Greet guests and drive exceptional guest experiences.
Handle opening/closing duties per SOPs.
Serve guests in retail, prepare coffee and mixed drinks, pour alcohol, promote merchandise.
Maintain high standards of customer service across locations.
Support inventory counts and fulfillment as needed.
Share new products and promotions with guests.
Assist team during events, festivals, and performances near retail locations.
