Job summary

Black Bear Diners in Missouri is seeking a Server Support Team member to ensure guests have a positive and friendly dining experience. You will greet guests, seat them based on preferences, and manage wait times while coordinating with servers.

Responsibilities include taking food and beverage orders, processing payments, and keeping the dining area clean and stocked. Flexibility to work nights, weekends, and holidays is required; you may lift up to 50 pounds and stand long periods.

Qualifications

Responsibilities

• Greet arriving guests warmly and promptly.
• Seat guests based on preferences and balance customer flow.
• Manage waitlists and call parties when tables are ready.
• Take orders for dine-in and takeout and enter in POS.
• Process payments and close checks efficiently.
• Maintain clean dining area, restrooms and service stations.
• Assist servers and restock service stations as needed.
• Perform side work at start and end of shift.
• Adhere to appearance and uniform standards.
• Be willing to fill in as needed for smooth operations.
