Job summary

Black Bear Diners is seeking a Server Support Team member to ensure guests have a positive and friendly experience. You will greet and seat guests, take takeout orders, process payments, and maintain dining room cleanliness. You will assist servers, relay messages, and help with side work throughout shifts.

The role requires standing for long periods, the ability to lift up to 50 pounds, and flexibility to work nights, weekends, and holidays as needed.

Qualifications

Responsibilities

• Greet guests warmly and promptly upon arrival.
• Seat guests based on preferences and flow; manage waitlists as needed.
• Take takeout orders and enter them in the point-of-sale system.
• Process payments and close checks accurately and efficiently.
• Maintain clean entrance, lobby, dining room, restrooms; stock service stations.
• Assist servers, relay messages, and transport bus tubs as needed.
• Perform side work at the start and end of shifts and help with closing duties.
