City of Burnet is seeking a Golf Course Guest Services team member to support the outside golf operations and ensure a smooth customer experience. The role focuses on cart cleanliness, staging, and range operations with flexible hours and a non-supervisory structure.
Hours vary seasonally, averaging about 20 hours per week. The candidate should be neat, self-motivated, and capable of working with minimal supervision while delivering excellent guest service.
The Golf Course Guest Services position works closely with the General Manager/Pro Shop Manager on the outside golf operations to assure a smooth transition for customers. Primary responsibility is cart cleanliness, staging, and storing. Must have excellent listening skills and an eagerness to provide excellent service. Must be flexible in meeting the varying scheduling needs of the Course and may be required to work additional hours than scheduled, if necessary. Must be neat and well-groomed. This position requires a highly self-motivated individual who can work with minimal supervision and interact with customers at a high-level.
This is a non-supervisory position. Position is responsible for the routine maintenance of the pro-shop, driving range and cart facilities. Hours vary with the time of the year. Shift worked will vary depending upon schedule. Approximately 20 hours per week.
High school diploma or general education degree (GED) preferred; or one to three months related experience and/or training preferred; or equivalent combination of education and experience.

Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision, distance vision, color vision, peripheral vision, depth perception and the ability to adjust focus.
