Job summary

Explorus is seeking a Gate Attendant to greet guests, check in reservations, and handle cash and card transactions at assigned gatehouses or kiosks. You will deliver friendly service and ensure park rules and services are clearly communicated.

The role requires reliability, the ability to work weekends and holidays, and the stamina to work in varying weather. You’ll join a team dedicated to safe, enjoyable experiences for guests and staff.

Qualifications

• One year of experience in a customer service or hospitality role.
• Must be at least 18 years of age.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Excellent customer service skills.
• Strong organizational and time management skills.
• Available for duty during weekends, holidays, and peak visitation periods.

Responsibilities

• Serves customers in a friendly, courteous manner and sets a good example for visitors and fellow employees.
• Operates cash register and processes credit and debit card transactions.
• Checks in all guest reservations and day-use visitations.
• Answers phones and helps guests make reservations.
• Effectively communicates knowledge of Park Rules/Regulations, services and features to all guests.
• Maintains a clean and orderly gatehouse/kiosk.
• Assists with other related tasks as needed.
