Job summary

Island Hospitality is seeking a Guest Services Coordinator to handle routine office tasks and welcome guests at the resort office. You will interact with guests who have questions or concerns and address their needs in a friendly, professional manner.

This seasonal position requires flexible scheduling. Duties include front-desk tasks, administrative work, and support for marketing materials, with opportunities for training and growth within the team.

Qualifications

  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office, email, and internet.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Approachable and friendly demeanor with guests.
  • Prior administrative experience preferred.
  • Resort office or hotel front desk experience is a plus.

Responsibilities

  • Greet guests and establish rapport.
  • Channel resort feedback to Resort Manager.
  • Check guests in and out for reservations.
  • Perform general administrative duties (phones, typing, copying, faxing, filing).
  • Complete and maintain resort records, reports and files.
  • Prepare and distribute resort communications (rules, notices, newsletters).
  • Ensure supplies are stocked and place supply orders as needed.
  • Assist with marketing material preparation.

Job description

Guest Services Coordinator

As our Guest Services Coordinator, you will cover routine office/clerical responsibilities for one of our resorts. You will also serve as the face of the resort as you interact with current and prospective guests who come to the office with questions and concerns.

This is a seasonal position that requires flexible scheduling availability.

Job Requirements
  • Greet and establish rapport with guests
  • Field resort comments, suggestions, and complaints to the Resort Manager
  • Check guests in and out for their reservations
  • Perform general administrative duties such as answering phones, typing, copying, faxing, and filing
  • Complete and maintain resort records, reports, and files
  • Prepare and distribute resort communications such as rule reminders, violation notices, newsletters, etc.
  • Ensure office supplies are sufficiently stocked and prepare supply orders as needed
  • Assist with the preparation of marketing materials
Job Qualifications
  • Intermediate computer proficiency, including the ability to use Microsoft Office, email, and the internet
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Readily available and approachable for all guests while providing excellent guest service
  • Prior administrative experience is preferred
  • Resort office or hotel front desk experience is a plus

While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to lift and/or move up to 10 pounds and occasionally lift and/or move up to 50 pounds. The number of hours you will be scheduled to work during the week is variable and is based on guest occupancy, season, staffing and other factors. Island Hospitality is unable to guarantee a specific number of work hours per week.
