Job summary

Galaxy Theatres is seeking enthusiastic team members in Gig Harbor, WA to join our cinema crew. You will sell tickets, operate the box office POS, greet guests, check tickets, and provide information about showtimes and concessions while keeping the lobby clean and safe.

Strong interpersonal skills, reliability, and the ability to handle basic math are essential. Night/weekend availability is common, and team members may receive holiday pay and benefits after the probation period.

Qualifications

• Prior customer service or cash-handling experience is a plus.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to stand for extended periods and perform light physical tasks.
• Willingness to work evenings, weekends, and holidays.
• Reliable and punctual.

Responsibilities

• Sell tickets at the box office using a point-of-sale system.
• Operate cash registers and handle cash, credit, and mobile transactions.
• Greet and assist guests in a friendly, professional manner.
• Check tickets at theater entrances and guide guests to appropriate locations.
• Provide information about showtimes, theater amenities, policies, and general inquiries.
• Answer phones and transfer calls as needed.
• Prepare food and beverages at the concession stand following safety and quality guidelines.
• Stock concessions and cleaning supplies as needed.
• Perform cleaning duties (sweeping, mopping, restroom checks, trash removal) and general maintenance of lobby and auditorium areas.
• Monitor crowd behavior and support crowd-control procedures.
