Job summary

Mall of America in Bloomington, MN is seeking a customer-focused team member to provide exceptional service and assist guests with merchandise and tickets for Nickelodeon Universe. You will greet guests, answer questions, locate products, and maintain displays. The role requires POS experience, basic math, and strong communication.

Candidates must be 15+. Flexible schedule includes weekends, evenings, and holidays.

Qualifications

• Must be at least 15 years of age.
• Outstanding guest service skills.
• Basic knowledge of computers.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Basic math skills.
• Previous point of sale experience including cash handling.
• Interpersonal skills – working alone and with team.
• Previous retail experience preferred.
• Previous guest service experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide exceptional guest service by greeting and conversing with guests to determine their needs.
• Assist guests with product questions and questions about MOA and the local region.
• Recommend, select and assist in locating merchandise based on guests' needs.
• Prepare and organize product for display for purchase.
• Maintain knowledge of current sales, promotions, and discounts.
• Understand product features, similar products, and benefits.
• Keep displays clean, organized, and stocked as directed.
• Complete inventory on selected products and maintain organization.
• Communicate inventory levels to supervisors.
• Oversee safety and cleanliness of the sales floor.
• Ring and count funds accurately following cash handling procedures.
• Follow loss prevention procedures.
• Utilize suggestive selling techniques to increase sales.
• Print and change Order Entry orders.
• Complete safety checklist and training.
• Check in retail stock and ensure presence on the floor; place backstock in proper stockrooms.
• Cross-train with MOA departments and be available to assist as needed.
• Work a flexible schedule, including weekends, evenings, holidays, and high-volume days.
• Additional duties as assigned.
