Job summary

Mall of America is seeking an enthusiastic guest service associate to assist guests at the MOA and Nickelodeon Universe tickets and merchandise. You will greet guests, answer questions, and help locate products while maintaining displays and stock levels.

The role requires strong communication, basic math, and prior POS experience. A flexible schedule including weekends, evenings, and holidays is expected.

Qualifications

• Must be at least 15 years of age.
• Basic knowledge of computers.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Basic math skills.
• Previous point of sale experience including cash handling.
• Interpersonal skills – working alone and with team.
• Previous guest service experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Greet and converse with guests to determine needs.
• Assist guests with product questions and MOA information.
• Recommend and locate merchandise based on guest needs.
• Prepare and display products for purchase.
• Maintain knowledge of sales, promotions, and discounts.
• Understand product features and benefits.
• Maintain and organize product displays.
• Complete inventory checks and report stock levels.
• Ensure sales floor safety and cleanliness.
• Handle cash accurately and follow cash procedures.
• Practice loss prevention procedures.
• Use suggestive selling techniques to boost sales.
• Process orders and update entries as needed.
• Complete safety trainings and checklists.
• Cross train with MOA departments and assist as needed.
• Work a flexible schedule including weekends, evenings, holidays.
