Job summary

Hyatt Regency Bellevue on Seattle's Eastside is seeking a friendly Bell Attendant to warmly welcome guests, assist with luggage, and help ensure a smooth arrival and departure experience.

You will interact with guests, provide local recommendations, and support Concierge and Front Office teams in a fast-paced, service-driven environment.

Qualifications

• Previous customer service experience preferred.
• Must be able to walk and stand for long periods.
• Refined verbal and written communication skills.
• Flexible work availability including mornings, afternoons, evenings, weekends and holidays.
• Ability to lift, push, and pull up to moderate weight.

Responsibilities

• Greet guests and assist with luggage at arrival and departure.
• Escort guests and deliver luggage to rooms and from storage areas.
• Provide local information, directions and recommendations to guests.
• Assist Concierge and Front Office teams with guest inquiries as needed.

Bell Attendants are in constant communication with the Front Office and Valet to ensure guests are escorted, and their luggage & personal items are transported to and from guest rooms efficiently. Making sure that guests are comfortable with accommodations, and are familiar with room offerings & features, is essential.

This highly visible role gives an opportunity for casual conversation, providing local recommendations, and indulging in special requests.

Bell Attendants also assist the Concierge team before and after hours, and/or when they are away from the desk. This support includes answering guest inquiries, providing directions, and offering detailed recommendations or making reservations. They regularly share their knowledge of hotel services, local events and venues, and available transportation options.

The hourly rate offered for this position ranges from $22.50/hour to $23.50/hour.

**This position is eligible to receive additional compensation through gratuities, provided at the guest's discretion.
