Job summary

Vail Resorts in South Lake Tahoe is hiring for Winter Seasonal positions for the 2026/2027 season. You will meet and greet guests, assist across multiple departments, and deliver outstanding guest service in a mountain resort setting. Starting wage is $20.00 per hour.

Roles may include ticket sales, retail, food and beverage support, lift operations, and base area operations. Must be able to work outdoors, weekends, and holidays. Housing is not available.

Qualifications

• Previous guest service experience preferred.
• Ability to stay enthusiastic and productive when busy.
• Willingness to work weekends and holidays.

Responsibilities

• Meet and greet guests with a positive attitude and provide guidance.
• Assist other departments as needed (including ticketing, retail, activities, and base area operations).
• Ensure guest satisfaction and address guest questions or concerns.

Job Responsibilities:

Meet and greetguestswhile displaying positive guest service.

Commit to guest satisfaction and assume responsibility for guest care and solving problem

Answer guest questions by becoming a resort operations and services expert.

Assistother departments as needed, including ticket scanning, ticket sales, activities operations.

Clearingthe base areamay be a part of your role

A Guest Services Attendant team member is a flexible employee who often works across multiple departments and in various roles to support the one resort mentality which could include one of the following:

Mountain Activities

Retail Rental operations

Food and Beverage Support

Ticket sales or scanning

Lift Operations

Base Area Operations

The expected pay range is$20.00/hr. This is the pay range we reasonably expect to pay for this position. Individual compensation decisions are based on a variety of factors.
