Job summary

United Dairy Farmers is seeking a Guest Services Associate for a part-time schedule (25 hours or less per week). The role focuses on delivering the Hi Five Guest Experience, greeting Guests warmly, and ensuring a clean, well-stocked store environment across multiple shifts.

You will handle POS and gas transactions, assist with dip-side items, and maintain safety and compliance throughout the shift. Ideal candidates will have strong English communication skills and the ability to operate store

Qualifications

• Must be able to speak, hear and understand spoken English well enough to communicate with customers.
• Must be able to see well enough to operate store equipment.
• Must be able to understand operating instructions for store equipment.
• Must be able to prepare DipSide items using supplies located in the dip cabinets.
• Must be able to handle coins, currency, checks, credit transactions, coupons and food stamps, recognize denominations and make change.
• Must be able to count and do arithmetic.
• Must be able to move merchandise from storage to shelves/displays/freezers/milk box and place for proper display.
• Must be able to clean counters and other surfaces.
• Must be able to tolerate exposure to -30 degrees Fahrenheit for at least 2 minutes.
• Must be able to tolerate exposure to 33 degrees Fahrenheit for at least 10 minutes.
• Must be able to raise at least 10 pounds from floor level to a height of 5 feet.
• Must be able to place an 8" x 10" x 10" package weighing 21 pounds into a dip cabinet.

Responsibilities

• Provide the signature UDF Hi Five Guest Experience; greet Guests with a warm, authentic hello and ensure the store is prepared for Guests.
• Preparation of shakes/malts, cups/cones, sundaes, sodas and hand-packed containers.
• Efficient operation of POS system and gas console; process transactions and make change.
• Stock shelves, displays, milk box and freezers; rotate stock and check dates.
• Maintain awareness to minimize shop-lifting and gas drive-offs; follow cash drop procedures.
• Keep store and parking lot safe, clean and organized; monitor equipment temperatures.
• Accurate completion of time records and the Customer First Document.
• Other duties as assigned by Management.
