Job summary

Star Furniture in Cypress, TX is seeking a Guest Services Associate to ensure an exceptional guest experience by finalizing sales orders and addressing guest needs. This part-time role requires strong customer service skills and the ability to work evenings, weekends, and holidays.

The position reports to Store Management and involves daily audits, order support, and handling guest inquiries with a sense of urgency. Requires good English communication and teamwork.

• Provides guests with an IT/Guest Experience.
• Performs daily audits and office checklists.
• Assists guests with questions on orders or accounts.
• Escalates guest issues to store management or Customer Care Center.
• Answers incoming calls and routes to the right person/department.
• Performs daily audits to ensure accuracy of open orders.
• Covers opening/closing procedures.

About The Role:

The Guest Services Associate provides all guests with exceptional experience while finalizing their sales order.

Reports To:

Store Management

Essential Functions:

• Finalizes sales order in a friendly and efficient manner.
• Provides all guests with anITGuest Experience.
• Completes daily audits and Office Checklist.
• Assists guests with questions on their orders or accounts.
• Directs any guest issues and concerns with a sense of urgency to store management or Customer Care Center.
• Answers incoming calls and directs to the appropriate person/department.
• Perform daily audits to ensure accuracy of all open orders.
• Responsible for opening/closing procedures.

Requirements:

• At least one year of experience in a customer service environment.
• Aptitude for Technology.
• Service Oriented.
• Good communication skills; reading and writing skills in English

Position Type / Expected Hours of Work:

This position requires at least 29/ hours per week as a part of standard retail schedule to include evenings, weekends and holidays.
