The South Carolina Aquarium is seeking a Guest Services Associate for a part-time, outdoor role in Charleston, SC. Earn $15 per hour with full-day shifts and weekend availability. Uniform shirts and outerwear are provided, and holiday hours may apply.

Responsibilities include greeting guests, selling tickets and memberships, guiding guests around the venue, and assisting with crowd flow. Prior hospitality or customer service experience is a plus.

Guest Services Associate – Part-time

Quick Highlights:

Full day shifts that range from 8:00 am – 5:00 pm; sign up for night-time events for extra hours

Holiday shifts are paid time and a half

Availability required for at least one weekend day; you can work up to 30 hours in a week

Aquarium provides uniform shirts and outerwear

This is a standing, outdoor position — dress appropriately; accommodations provided as necessary.

Pay is $15 per hour

What You’ll Do:

• Warmly greet guests and promote our programs and initiatives
• Sell and scan tickets with a smile (cash-handling exp recommended)
• Promote and sell memberships (computer exp required)
• Assist guests with golf cart rides to and from parking garage (valid driver’s license required)
• Assist with crowd flow, safety, and organization
• Use a radio for communications
• Process groups that visit for school field trips
