Job summary

SUMMIT One Vanderbilt invites Guest Services Ambassadors to embody the brand while guiding guests through our immersive observatory experience atop One Vanderbilt in Midtown Manhattan. You will greet visitors, explain attractions, and ensure a safe, memorable visit in a fast-paced, hospitality-focused environment.

This role requires flexibility, including evenings, weekends, and holidays, with opportunities to interact with guests from around the world and to contribute to a standout guest

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED.
• Prior experience in hospitality roles.

Responsibilities

• Embody SUMMIT’s brand and service values in guest interactions.
• Greet and orient guests as they enter assigned areas.
• Ensure guest safety in assigned areas.
• Provide high level guest service and personalized recommendations.
• Manage ticketing operations, including entry times and scanning.
• Assist with wayfinding, guest flow, and line management.
• Escort guests in Ascent and monitor safety and protocols.

In this role, you will report toan Associate Guest Services Manager orGuest ServicesManager. The position requires the ability to accommodate a flexible schedule,including evenings, weekends, and holidays, as well as the ability to adaptwithina dynamic work environment.The ideal candidatewill have experience inhospitalityroles inthe entertainment, live events, theme park,andattractionssectors.

Key Responsibilities

• EmbodySUMMIT’sbrand and service values in both internal and guest interactions.
• Act as a host by greeting and orienting guests as they enter assigned areas.
• Ensure the safety of guests while in assigned areas.
• Consistently display GuestServicestraining standards and enthusiastically create an unforgettable experience through personalized service.
• Providea high levelof guest service by engaging guests, answering questions, resolving issues, making thoughtful recommendations, andidentifyingopportunities to personalize each experience.
• Be knowledgeable of the SUMMITOne Vanderbilt brand and thetickets, products, and programs.
• Manage ticketingoperations, including confirming entry times and ticket scanning.
• Assistin wayfinding, guest flow, and line management.
• Contribute to the continuousimprovement of our guestservicesprogramsby providingfeedback to management andparticipatingin regular team development initiatives.
• Perform other duties as necessary or required by management.
• Escort and engagewithguestswhile inAscent,theexteriorglasselevator, ensuring a positive and informative experience whilemonitoringguest safety and facility protocols.
• Perform wayfinding, guestassistance, and crowd management duties across multiple key locations, including outdoor areas and entry points, whilemaintaininghigh service standards in all weather conditions.
