Valor Hospitality Partners is seeking a Front Desk Clerk at the Hilton Garden Inn Haymarket to welcome guests, check in/out, answer questions, and provide recommendations. You will balance cash, handle reservations, and work to ensure a smooth guest experience from arrival to departure.

The role requires a friendly demeanor, strong computer skills, and the ability to upsell services while maintaining high service standards and adherence to hotel policies.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent is required.
• 3–12 months experience in a guest relations or related role.
• Strong computer and cash handling skills.
• Excellent communication and a friendly, guest-focused demeanor.

Responsibilities

• Handle guest registration and room assignments, provide quotes, upsell where possible.
• Verify registration details against system for accuracy.
• Pre-register and manage reservations, adjust according to rate structures.
• Process check-ins/check-outs and ensure charges are correctly posted.
• Balance cash and cash equivalents at start/end of shifts.
• Resolve guest inquiries and assist with services, events, and local information.
• Answer phones and provide general hotel information to guests.
• Coordinate between Front Desk and Housekeeping for room readiness.
