Job summary

Staypineapple is seeking a friendly Guest Services Agent / Night Auditor in San Francisco. You will handle front desk tasks, assist guests with luggage, pre-register VIPs, and maintain knowledge of rates and room types to ensure smooth operations.

The role emphasizes delivering outstanding customer service, balancing cash and deposits, and acting as a resource for guests and team members while promoting Staypineapple’s hospitality standards.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent.
• Three to six months related experience preferred.
• Possess a valid food handlers card and alcohol service card (can acquire after hire).
• Working knowledge of Microsoft Windows and Office.
• Ability to effectively interact with all hotel guests and team members in a polite and positive manner.
• Ability to quickly assess situations and create effective resolutions to problems.
• Possess a passion to provide excellent customer service.

Responsibilities

• Completing daily front desk duties including check-ins/outs, room scheduling, room moves, late checkouts, stay-overs and rates and types of available rooms as well as responding to other requests from guests and providing welcome beverage and barista services as needed.
• Assist arriving and departing guests with their luggage to and from guest rooms.
• Completing group pre-registrations and blocking room reservations, as well as pre-registering VIPs.
• Maintaining knowledge of current hotel rates, sales strategies, current special rates and types and locations of available rooms.
• Balancing paperwork, cash drawer, deposits, reconciling credit cards and submitting batches.
• Act as a point of reference for guests that require assistance or information and attend to their wishes and requirements. This includes their transportation needs.
• Acquiring and sharing knowledge of the hotel as well as the surrounding areas, venues and attractions.

Pay: $27.75 per hour

Status: Full Time
