Job summary

Cornerstone Parking Group is seeking a Guest Services Ambassador to serve patients and visitors at hospitals in our community. This role provides a welcoming first impression, helps with directions and information, and upholds visitor guidelines.

Responsibilities include escorting visitors, navigating hospital spaces, and supporting staff while maintaining confidentiality. The position emphasizes empathy, professionalism, and outstanding customer service during Saturday and Sunday shifts.

Qualifications

• Stand for 95% of shift.
• Fluent reading/writing/speaking of English.
• Dependable; attendance must be a high priority.
• Ability to work independently with integrity.

Responsibilities

• Provide exemplary customer service for patients, families and visitors by modeling service standard behaviors.
• Create a welcoming environment as the first contact for patients and visitors.
• Assist or provide information, resources and directions to patients, guests, and staff.
• Ensure visitor guidelines and visitor management protocols are consistently supported for all.
• Utilize critical thinking and de-escalation skills to troubleshoot situations and provide appropriate resolutions with empathy.
• Provide escort and wayfinding assistance for patients and visitors.
• Navigate the hospital and systems while maintaining confidentiality and privacy.
• Assist with patient drop offs and pick up, including belongings and paperwork.
• Maintain cleanliness of entrance points and work areas.
• Maintain knowledge of hospital operations, services, and schedules.
• Assist with training or coaching of volunteers and transitional staff.
• Collaborate with departments to provide compassionate guidance.
• Perform other related duties as required.

Overview

This is a high-profile, front-facing customer service role serving patients and visitors at various hospitals within our community. The Guest Services Ambassador provides a welcoming first impression for a facility while simultaneously upholding visitor guidelines and visitor management protocols. Guest Services Ambassadors demonstrate professionalism, effective communication, listening skills, empathy, and ability to effectively interact with patients, visitors, staff and others. They will serve as a resource for information and work to enhance the experience for patients, visitors, and staff.

• Assist with maintaining cleanliness of our entrance points and work areas.
• Maintain general knowledge of our hospital and clinic operations, services, and schedules.
• Assist with the training or coaching of volunteers and transitional work employees.
• Collaborate with other departments to provide consistent and compassionate guidance for patients, families and visitors.
