Derby Recreation Commission is seeking a Guest Service Representative who will be the first and last impression for our members and guests. You will greet, assist, and direct visitors, answer questions, and process transactions with accuracy and courtesy.

The role emphasizes excellent communication, reliability, and the ability to work evenings and weekends. A CPR/First Aid certification and a valid driver's license are preferred; prior customer service experience is a plus as you help our

We are searching for a unique individual to be a part of our Guest Service Team. You will be the first and last impression for our members and guests at the Derby Recreation Commission. Skills Needed to Win as a GSR:

• Excellent “people skills", listen twice as much as you talk
• Proficient computer skills, including data entry, website navigation and other software.
• Follow up skills and email management to stay informed, aligned and connected with our GS Team.
• Must be at least 18 years of age and have a valid driver’s license
• Must possess current CPR and First Aid Certification within 60 days of employment and be able to perform CPR and First Aid as needed
• Must pass a criminal background check
• Ability to work evenings, weekends, and some holidays
• High school diploma preferred
• Some experience in customer service preferred
• Need to have the ability to see, hear, and move about. Must possess an audible voice for communication and ability to lift light equipment.
