**Job Summary**Guest Services Team Members are responsible for creating a welcoming, safe, and positive experience for all guests attending events at the Abilene Convention Center. Team members serve as a primary point of contact for guests, providing assistance with seating, directions, accessibility needs, event information, venue policies, and general inquiries.**Essential Duties and Responsibilities*** Greet and welcome guests as they enter the venue with a friendly and professional demeanor.* Scan guest tickets and verify that guests have valid tickets, credentials, or other authorized access.* Assist guests with locating their seats, sections, entrances, restrooms, concessions, suites, and other venue amenities.* Check tickets and credentials when guests are attempting to access restricted or designated seating areas.* Provide accurate directions and helpful information regarding the venue, event, schedule, and available services.* Provide assistance to guests with accessibility needs and ensure they are directed to appropriate resources and accommodations.* Respond promptly and professionally to guest questions, complaints, concerns, comments, and requests for assistance.* Demonstrate excellent customer service and maintain a positive attitude when interacting with guests, vendors, employees, performers, and event personnel.* Accurately communicate event, venue, and operational information to guests.**Required Qualifications*** High School Diploma or equivalent.* Must be at least 18 years of age.* Excellent verbal and written communication skills. Ability to read, write, and understand English in a professional working environment.* Friendly, outgoing, approachable, and guest-focused personality. Strong interpersonal and problem-solving skills.* Ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team.* Basic computer skills preferred.* Must be available to work evenings, weekends, holidays, and varying event schedules.**Work Conditions & Physical Requirements**The physical demands described below are representative of those required to successfully perform the essential functions of the position.
