Job summary

Chevron Stations Inc (CSI) is seeking team members for part-time roles at our Hayward, CA locations. The position emphasizes guest service, safe cash handling, and high food-safety standards at busy retail stations.

Applicants should be able to work varied hours and maintain CSI policies across safety, security, and quality guidelines. Responsibilities include POS transactions, station cleanliness, food prep for KKC/ExtraMile items, and active promotion of store specials.

Responsibilities

• Provide exceptional guest service. Be courteous, always greet and thank all customers while making eye contact.
• Conduct all point-of-sale activities accurately and safely while adhering to CSI guidelines and procedures, including multi-form payment transactions.
• Maintain cash drawer within limits and reconcile at shift end as per CSI policies.
• Perform station cleaning of indoor/outdoor facilities including restrooms, pumps, and car wash as applicable.
• Prepare food and hot beverages for ExtraMile and KKC offerings while monitoring stock levels to maximize sales and minimize loss.
• Promote store specials and other marketing programs.
• Cross-check delivered goods for price accuracy and distribute items in the store to keep shelves full throughout the shift.
• Observe local law requirements when fueling vehicle tanks (where required).
• Follow kitchen and sanitation procedures in line with city/county regulations during cooking of KKC products.
