Job summary

Chevron Stations Inc. is seeking a part-time Customer Service Representative at the Encinitas location. You will cook, cashier, and assist with cleaning tasks at the Chevron Gas Station CSI #1943, 540 La Costa Ave, Encinitas, CA 92024.

Shifts are part-time with duties including guest service, POS transactions, food preparation, and maintaining safety and cleanliness according to CSI standards. California requires age and training compliance; visas are not granted for this posting.

Qualifications

• Must be proficient in English to understand policies and communicate with customers and coworkers.
• Available to work a variety of hours including mornings, evenings, weekends, overnight shifts, and holidays.
• Strong attention to detail.
• Ability to handle challenging situations professionally and exercise good judgement.
• Ability to work independently and in a team.
• Must possess up-to-date food handling certificates where required by law.
• Cooking/restaurant experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide exceptional guest service; greet and thank customers with eye contact.
• Conduct point-of-sale activities accurately and safely for retail and fuel sales.
• Maintain cash drawer and reconcile at shift end following CSI policies.
• Perform station cleaning of indoor and outdoor facilities, restrooms, pumps, and car wash.
• Prepare food and hot beverages; manage foodservice to maximize sales and minimize loss.
• Promote store specials and marketing programs.
• Restock shelves and ensure product availability across store areas.
