Job summary

Chevron Stations Inc. in Milpitas, CA is hiring for a full-time role focused on guest service, food preparation, and store operations. You will handle POS transactions, maintain cleanliness, manage stock, and promote store offers while ensuring safety and compliance with CSI policies.

The role requires English proficiency, flexibility in hours, and up-to-date food handling certificates. Prior cooking/restaurant experience is preferred; compensation is via hourly pay with full- and part-time

Qualifications

• Must be proficient in English to understand policies, safety training, and instructions.
• Available to work various hours, including mornings, evenings, weekends, and holidays.
• Strong attention to detail and professional demeanor.
• Ability to work independently and in team settings.
• Up-to-date food handling certificates as required by law in certain locations.
• Cooking/restaurant experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide exceptional guest service, greet customers and maintain eye contact.
• Process point-of-sale transactions accurately and safely with multiple payment forms.
• Maintain cash drawer and perform end-of-shift reconciliation.
• Clean indoor and outdoor areas, restrooms, pumps, and car wash if applicable.
• Prepare food and hot beverages and manage ExtraMile/KKC offerings to maximize sales.
• Promote store specials and marketing programs.
• Check delivered goods prices for accuracy.
• Distribute stock across store and keep shelves full.
• Adhere to local laws when fueling vehicles in specified levels (Oregon only).
• Perform other duties as assigned by management.
