Guest Service Representative - Night Auditor

Join our team as a Guest Service Representative - Night Auditor at LBA Hospitality. This full-time, third-shift position at the Hilton Garden Inn Charleston Waterfront involves overnight front desk operations, with shifts available 7 days a week, including weekends. The pay rate is $18.00 per hour, with benefits such as quarterly bonuses, paid time off, 401(k) with employer match, and the option for daily pay through DailyPay.

Responsibilities include:

  • Providing excellent guest service in a courteous, professional manner while following hospitality standards and procedures.
  • Executing selling strategies to enhance hotel revenue.
  • Managing front office operations, acting as Manager on Duty, responding to guest requests, and maintaining communication with management.

Pre-requisites:

  • Honesty and trustworthiness, with the ability to pass security clearance.
  • Experience in related industries helpful but not mandatory.
  • High school diploma or equivalent required; higher education helpful.

Physical and language requirements:

  • Ability to push/pull 60 lbs, lift 30 lbs, stand for 8 hours, and see/hear adequately.
  • Proficiency in English; additional languages beneficial.

Knowledge, skills, and abilities:

  • Familiarity with management functions, cash handling, safety protocols, and reservation procedures.
  • Computer literacy for property management systems.
  • Ability to multitask, communicate effectively, and work independently overnight.

Specific responsibilities:

  • Guest registration, promoting hotel services, handling reservations, and maintaining confidentiality.
  • Promoting repeat business and maintaining a professional lobby environment.
  • Ensuring safety, reporting incidents, and assisting in other departments as needed.

Working conditions:

Standing and walking for long periods, following laundry procedures if applicable, and maintaining a professional appearance.

Advancement opportunities:

This role offers training for leadership positions such as Assistant General Manager or General Manager.
