Nothing Bundt Cakes is seeking a Guest Services Representative to create a welcoming bakery experience. You will greet guests, help them select cakes for celebrations, and ensure orders are processed smoothly using the POS system. Training will cover cake crafting basics and career growth opportunities.

Responsibilities

• Greets walk-in and phone guests with warmth and enthusiasm to determine needs and guide them.
• Maintains product knowledge to educate guests on cake options, sizes, flavors, pricing, and promotions.
• Suggests complementary merchandise to complete celebrations.
• Processes orders accurately using the POS system and encourages joining the Email Club.
• Keeps bakery clean and organized, including surfaces and display cases.
• Restocks merchandise and cake displays for strong visual presentation.
• Assists with cake decorations and packaging supplies as needed.
• Supports opening/closing bakery and register handling.
• Assists in building marketing email lists for fundraising opportunities.

Accountabilities/Duties:

• Promptly greets walk-in and phone guests with genuine warmth and helpful enthusiasm to determine interests and needs, and follows NbC Sweet Steps of Service to create a superior guest experience.
• Maintains strong product knowledge to educate guests on NbC cake distinction, size and flavor profile options, pricing, special promotions, and complimentary retail merchandise.
• Suggests additional merchandise, including balloons, candles, and cards, to complete a unique celebration.
• Processes guest orders efficiently and accurately utilizing the point-of-sale system and invite guests to join NbC Email Club to benefit from special promotions and remain connected.
• Upholds a clean and organized bakery presentation, which may include routine sweeping/mopping of the floor, and dusting/cleaning of countertops, windows, and other surfaces.
• Replenishes retail merchandise and cake display case to ensure a strong visual presentation.
• Assists the Crafter in preparing cake decorations and packaging supplies as needed.
• Help open and close bakery including closing down registers.
• Learn to help build marketing email lists to help find potential fundraiser avenues.

Work Availability:

Must have the flexibility to work various shifts, including mornings, evenings, weekends and holidays, based on changing business demands.
