At Nothing Bundt Cakes, the Guest Services Representative sweetens up the place, setting the mood and making a stop in the bakery an event worth posting about. You’ll help guests order the right cake for their celebrations and make sure their orders go off without a hitch. You’ll make everyone feel welcome, and you’ll create an environment of generosity, happiness, and joy in your community.

Accountabilities / Duties

• Promptly greet walk‑in and phone guests with genuine warmth and helpful enthusiasm to determine interests and needs, and follow NbC Sweet Steps of Service to create a superior guest experience.
• Maintain strong product knowledge to educate guests on NbC cake distinction, size and flavor profile options, pricing, special promotions, and complimentary retail merchandise.
• Suggest additional merchandise, including balloons, candles, and cards, to complete a unique celebration.
• Process guest orders efficiently and accurately using the point‑of‑sale system and invite guests to join the NbC Email Club to benefit from special promotions and remain connected.
• Uphold a clean and organized bakery presentation, which may include routine sweeping/mopping of the floor, and dusting/cleaning of countertops, windows, and other surfaces.
• Replenish retail merchandise and cake display case to ensure a strong visual presentation.
• Assist the Crafter in preparing cake decorations and packaging supplies as needed.
• Help open and close the bakery including closing down registers.
• Learn to help build marketing email lists to help find potential fundraiser avenues.
