Primary Responsibilities:

  1. Greet guests and perform check-in/out procedures
  2. Follow all cash and credit card procedures required by hotel and brand standards
  3. Check house count to determine available rooms
  4. Review credit limit exception report & get additional approval if necessary
  5. Check expected departures for the day & manage checkouts or extensions
  6. Update housekeeping room status
  7. Balance departments from daily activity reports
  8. Perform cashier shift change when cash is balanced
  9. Explain hotel promotional items to guests and provide upon request
  10. Highlight hotel amenities during interactions
  11. Respond promptly to guest inquiries or complaints, offering alternatives if needed
  12. Document guest accidents with reports
  13. Work flexible shifts including evenings, weekends, and holidays

Education/Experience:

  • High School diploma or GED preferred
  • Minimum one year of hospitality experience
  • Customer service experience required
  • Experience with cash and credit procedures
  • Attention to detail
  • Knowledge of hotel layout, amenities, procedures, and local area
