Overview

A Guest Services Representative is passionate about providing remarkable guest service at the Guest Service Counter by offering convenient, specialty products and services not offered by traditional grocery retailers (i.e., Money Orders & Postage, etc.). The role involves supporting the front-end and store operations through cashier interventions, transaction corrections, returns, coupon refunds, and exchanges.

Responsibilities

1. Maintain a "Say Yes to the Guest" attitude by providing exceptional service.
2. Perform all front-end functions including cashiering, bagging, operating money order, postal, lottery, and electronic payment machines.
3. Assist guests with merchandise returns, overcharges, and overrings.
4. Conduct cashier accuracy audits and troubleshoot issues, informing management of problems.
5. Provide backup support in various store areas, including Guest Services and cashiering.
6. Support the Guest Service Manager and Senior Guest Service Manager in their absence.
