Job summary

Nothing Bundt Cakes is seeking a Guest Services Representative (GSR) to create a warm, welcoming atmosphere for guests in person and by phone. You will guide guests through product choices, assist with orders, and balance the POS with accuracy.

You’ll participate in light crafting-related duties, maintain merchandising, and contribute to a joyful community experience through excellent service and friendly, proactive communication.

Responsibilities

• Greet walk-in guests and introduce them to products using a friendly tour.
• Assist guests with crafting orders and upsell add-ons for a complete experience.
• Take and process phone orders accurately on the POS system.
• Collect guest emails and stay informed about current prices and promotions.
• Keep the retail area clean and well-merchandised throughout the day.
• Carry out tasks from the crafter and other departments as needed.

At Nothing Bundt Cakes, the Guest Services Representative sweetens up the place, setting the mood and making a stop in the bakery an event worth posting about. You’ll get to play party planner by helping guests order the right cake for their celebrations and making sure their orders go off without a hitch. You’ll make everyone feel welcome, and you’ll create an environment of generosity, happiness, and joy in your community.

JOB POSITION

The Guest Services Representative (GSR) creates a warm and welcoming environment in which to serve the Nothing Bundt Cakes guests both in person and by telephone.

The GSR does side work duties for the Crafting Department, some light cleaning and clerical duties.

RESPONSIBILITIES

• Introduce walk-in guests to the bakery and products using a Guest Tour
• Suggest creative solutions to guests with walk-in orders
• Suggest the purchase of add-ons and retail to make the product a complete experience
• Assist phone-in guests with their orders
• Operate and balance the POS with accuracy and efficiency
• Collect email addresses from guests
• Have current and complete knowledge of current prices, products and promotions
• Keep retail area clean, swept and neatly merchandised throughout the day
• Dust all retail surfaces at least twice per week, including counter tops and POS stations.
• Carry out the duties the crafter & other departments assigns from time to time
