Job summary

Nothing Bundt Cakes is seeking a friendly Guest Service Representative to create a warm environment for guests and handle orders with care. You will educate customers on cake options, promote promotions, and help guests design celebratory purchases.

In this role you’ll stock displays, assist with decorations, and ensure compliance with health and safety guidelines while delivering a memorable bakery experience.

Qualifications

• Must be friendly, energetic and guest-focused to create a welcoming bakery experience.
• Ability to educate guests on cake options, pricing and promotions with strong product knowledge.
• Capable of handling multiple tasks with accuracy in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities

• Greet guests warmly in person and by phone, determine needs and interests.
• Educate guests on NbC cakes, sizes, flavors, pricing and promotions.
• Suggest additional merchandise to complete celebrations (balloons, candles, cards).
• Process orders accurately using the POS system and invite to NbC Email Club.
• Restock display cases to maintain strong visual presentation.
• Assist crafter with cake decorations and packaging supplies as needed.
• Adhere to health/safety guidelines, dress code and personal hygiene; maintain attendance.

The Nothing Bundt Cakes, a Guest Service Representative creates a warm, welcoming environment for our guests, offers creative solutions for unique celebratory occasions and sells our delicious cakes. The Guest Service Representative is the first point of contact in our bakery and serves in an essential role to bring joy to our guests, create a memorable experience and leave a positive, lasting impression.

Accountabilities/Duties

• Greets walk-in and phone guests with genuine warmth and helpful enthusiasm to determine interests and needs.
• Maintains strong product knowledge to educate guests on NbC cake distinction, size and flavor profile options, pricing, special promotions, and complimentary retail merchandise.
• Suggests additional merchandise, including balloons, candles, and cards, to complete a unique celebration.
• Processes guest orders efficiently and accurately utilizing the point-of-sale system and invite guests to join NbC Email Club to benefit from special promotions.
• Replenishes cake display case to ensure a strong visual presentation.
• Assists the Crafter in preparing cake decorations and packaging supplies as needed.
• Complies with all health and safety guidelines and NbC policies and procedures, including strict adherence to dress code and personal hygiene.
• Maintains a consistent work attendance and punctuality record.
