Responsibilities
- Observe, evaluate, and coach hosts to deliver friendly, superior customer service focusing on show.
- Maintain measurement plans and reports to evaluate host, financial, and operational effectiveness.
- Conduct training needs assessments and provide coaching and feedback.
- Deliver on-the-job training (OJT) programs and materials.
- Drive continuous improvement of OJT based on measurements.
- Select, train, and develop Guest Service Leaders.
- Assess and improve the friendliness and show aspects of each department, providing feedback and solutions.
- Manage training activities and support organizational effectiveness.
- Handle hiring processes, sourcing, onboarding, and training following guidelines.
- Maintain all training documentation.
- Coordinate with the Store Manager to write schedules ensuring guest service levels within labor guidelines.
- Process guest orders and perform front desk functions as needed.
- Ensure accurate daily cash counts and bank deposits.
- Monitor audits and enforce policies related to Asset Protection and Shrink Control.
- Ensure the security of funds and maintain supplies within budget.
Qualifications
- Strong communication and partnership skills.
- Knowledge of retail operations.
- Ability and willingness to learn multiple tasks and technical requirements.
- Leadership experience with direct reports.
- Ability to read, understand, and work with information and directions.
- Teamwork skills.
- Physical ability to lift 25 lbs occasionally and 15 lbs constantly.
- Must be at least 18 years old.
- Ability to stand for extended periods.
- Math skills and computer literacy.
- Knowledge of Front End operations.
- Availability to work during peak shifts (such as 10-7) at least 3-4 days per week.
