Job summary

Yoke's Fresh Market is seeking friendly associates to ensure fast, accurate checkouts and exceptional guest experiences. You will engage guests, explain promotions, and handle purchases efficiently in a customer-focused environment.

Responsibilities include timely shift attendance, assisting guests with product recommendations, and processing sales while maintaining store standards and safety protocols. Training is provided; participation in the team-driven culture is expected.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED; or 1–3 months related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
• Reads and comprehends simple instructions, short correspondence and memos; communicates effectively with guests and associates.
• Meets state minimum requirement to sell tobacco and/or alcohol.

Responsibilities

• Report for assigned shifts on time and communicate clearly; provide excellent service.
• Promote sales with guests; discuss promotions and services.
• Record prices at register and handle diverse payment methods including cash, checks, and EBT.
