Job summary

Global Partners LP in Stratford, CT is seeking a Guest Service Associate to deliver a top-notch guest experience while supporting store operations and tasks. The role emphasizes customer service, safety and teamwork within a Fortune 500 company with a long-standing community focus.

You will greet guests, operate the POS, restock, and assist with vendor check-ins. The position offers flexible hours including days, nights, weekends, and holidays, plus benefits under our health and retirement plans.

Qualifications

• Ability to perform basic computer functions.
• Must have reliable transportation.
• Ability to lift up to 25 lbs.

Responsibilities

• Greet guests and provide an enjoyable shopping experience for everyone.
• Adhere to the execution of established safety, security, quality and store operations policies, procedures, and practices.
• Operate the point of sale pursuant to corporate standards; maintain proper cash, lottery, tobacco levels.
• Complete all store housekeeping functions (cleaning, dusting, sweeping, mopping, emptying trash, etc.).
• Replenish products and supplies ensuring in-stock conditions at all times.
• Communicate with store management regarding guest requests and vendor-related concerns.
• Check in external and internal vendors per established guidelines.
• Conduct gas tank inventory and merchandising projects assigned by management.
• Complete other tasks as assigned by management.
• Minors may ONLY use OSHA approved knives.
• Must be available to work flexible hours that may include day, nights, weekends, and or holidays.
