Job summary

Global Partners LP is hiring a Guest Service Associate in Manchester, CT to deliver top-notch guest experiences and execute store-level tasks. You will greet guests, operate the POS, and ensure safety, cleanliness and stock levels are maintained.

The role requires flexibility for days, nights, weekends, and holidays, reliable transportation, and the ability to lift up to 25 lbs. Training and onboarding support will be provided as part of the onboarding process.

Qualifications

• Experience in guest service or retail is preferred.
• Ability to operate POS and handle cash, lottery, tobacco as applicable.
• Must be available to work flexible hours including days, nights, weekends, holidays.
• Must have reliable transportation.
• Must be able to lift up to 25 lbs.

Responsibilities

• Greet guests and provide an enjoyable shopping experience.
• Adhere to safety/quality/store policies, procedures, and practices.
• Operate the POS pursuant to corporate standards; maintain proper cash, lottery, tobacco levels.
• Complete all store housekeeping functions (cleaning, dusting, sweeping, mopping, emptying trash, etc.).
• Replenish products and supplies ensuring in-stock conditions at all times.
• Communicate with store management regarding guest requests and vendor-related concerns.
• Check in external and internal vendors per established guidelines.
• Conduct gas tank inventory and merchandising projects assigned by management.
• Complete other tasks as assigned by management.
• Minors may ONLY use OSHA approved knives.
