Qualifications

• Customer service skills to engage with guests and provide outstanding retail sales and service.
• Retail experience to process information and merchandise transactions and handle cash at registers.
• Strong communication with customers and team members.
• Ability to read, count, and write accurately to ensure precise transactions.
• Ability to operate all equipment necessary to perform the job.

Responsibilities

• Engage with Guests: engage in friendly conversations, make eye contact, and ensure every guest feels welcome and valued.
• Efficient Transactions: scan grocery items, process sales accurately, and handle monetary transactions with care.
• Bagging with Care: bag items thoughtfully to ensure products reach their destination in good condition.
• Stay Informed: maintain awareness of promotions and ads to assist guests effectively.
• Maintain Order: keep register station neat and well-stocked with supplies.
• Communication: relay guest requests to the Guest Services leadership team to ensure satisfaction.
• Quality Standards: meet quality and quantity standards, especially during peak times.
• Teamwork: perform other duties to support the team.
• Honor Commitments: maintain regular, timely attendance and provide notice for absences.
