Festival Foods in Suamico, WI is seeking a part-time Cashier to join our guest-focused team. You will report to the Guest Service Department Manager and help ensure a pleasant, efficient shopping experience for every guest.

Qualifications

• Customer service skills to engage with guests and provide outstanding retail sales and service.
• Retail experience to process information and merchandise transactions and handle cash and media at registers.
• Strong communication with customers and retail team members.
• Accuracy to read, count, and write accurately for precise transactions.
• Ability to operate all equipment needed to perform the job.

Responsibilities

• Engage with Guests: Engage in friendly conversations, make eye contact, and ensure every guest feels welcome and valued.
• Efficient Transactions: Scan grocery items, process sales, and handle monetary transactions with care.
• Bagging with Care: Bag items thoughtfully to ensure products reach their destination in good condition.
• Stay Informed: Stay aware of promotions/ads to assist guests effectively.
• Maintain Order: Keep register station neat and stocked with supplies.
• Communication: Relay guest requests to Guest Services leadership to ensure satisfaction.
• Quality Standards: Meet quality/quantity standards, especially at peak times (10am and 5pm).
• Teamwork: Perform other duties to support the team.
• Honor Commitments: Maintain regular attendance and coordinate replacements as needed.
