Festival Foods in Appleton, WI is seeking a part-time Cashier to deliver outstanding guest service at the register and help our guests with a friendly, efficient checkout experience.

You will be at the forefront of our store team, greeting guests, processing sales, bagging items when needed, and maintaining a clean, organized register area while upholding quality standards and a flexible work schedule.

Qualifications

• Customer service skills to engage with guests and provide outstanding retail sales and service.
• Retail experience to process information and merchandise transactions and handle cash and media at registers.
• Strong communication with customers and retail teammates.
• Ability to read, count, and write accurately for precise transactions.
• Ability to operate all equipment necessary to perform the job.

Responsibilities

• Engage with guests, make eye contact, and ensure guests feel welcome and valued.
• Scan grocery items, process sales, and handle monetary transactions.
• Bag items thoughtfully to ensure safe transport.
• Stay informed on promotions and advertisements to assist guests.
• Keep register station neat and stocked with supplies.
• Relay guest requests to Guest Services leadership for satisfaction.
• Meet quality and quantity standards, especially during peak times.
• Perform other duties as needed to support the team.
• Maintain regular, timely attendance and provide notice for absences.
