Job summary

Chestnutmtn is seeking a Busser to support servers and keep the dining area clean and well-stocked. You will greet guests, coordinate with the host and waitstaff, and ensure quick clearing and resetting of tables. The role requires the ability to lift 25 pounds and stand for extended periods.

Responsibilities

• Greet guests appropriately when they are seated.
• Communicate with host/hostess and waitstaff to maintain service efficiency and guest satisfaction.
• Maintain cleanliness and sanitation of the front-of-house including tables, chairs, floors, windows.
• Restock dining room with silverware, glassware, utensils, condiments, and linen; maintain supplies at work stations when dining room opens.
• Prepare beverages required for service including coffee and iced tea.
• Remove dirty dishes and utensils from tables between courses and clear tables after guests leave.
• Reset and re-supply dishes and utensils for next course; ensure clean, organized tables.
• Return dirty dishes and utensils to dishwashing area.
• Assist waitstaff in serving tables with hot beverages.
• Shine silverware and glasses when it's slow.
• Wipe down wall behind bus station and other areas as needed.
• Dump all slop buckets.
• Stock and shine all service areas.
• Stock coffee cups and roll silverware.
