Job description

The Peninsula Golf & Country Club is excited to announce the opportunity for a Guest Services Attendant. Qualified candidates will thrive in a hospitality environment and be highly focused on providing superior service.

Key Responsibilities of the Guest Services Attendant:

1. Provide sincere and courteous service to all guests.
2. Clean and prepare golf carts for play following the standards of Troon Golf.
3. Perform range maintenance such as staging tee area, picking and washing balls, and maintaining ball inventory throughout the day.
4. Direct the start of play and maintain an accurate starting sheet.
5. Assist with the overall upkeep of the clubhouse, cart storage area, and parking lot.
6. Assist in the setup and execution of golf tournaments and outings.
7. Maintain the cart staging and storage areas in a neat, clean, and orderly condition.
8. Educate players regarding course policies, current cart policies, and speed of play.
9. Service customers renting golf clubs and clean rental clubs upon return.
10. Clean golfers' clubs upon completion of play.
11. Incorporate safe work practices in job performance.
12. Perform other duties as required.

Other Qualifications:

1. Must have a general understanding of the game of golf.
2. Valid Driver's License.
3. Regular and reliable attendance.
4. Weekend and holiday shifts are required.
