Overview

A Guest Services Agent is responsible for greeting, registering, and checking out guests, ensuring an outstanding guest experience and supporting hotel profitability.

Responsibilities
  1. Greet guests, complete registration, input and retrieve information from the computer, confirm guest details, assign rooms, code electronic keys, promote marketing programs, provide welcome packets, and guide guests to their rooms.
  2. Assist guests with check-out, ensure accurate billing, handle payments, process credit/debit cards, accept various payment methods, and manage foreign currency exchanges.
  3. Maintain thorough knowledge of hotel offerings, including room types, rates, packages, promotions, and local area information to answer guest inquiries.
  4. Use up-selling techniques to promote hotel services and maximize occupancy.
  5. Respond promptly and courteously to guest inquiries and requests, resolving issues efficiently.
  6. Handle guest complaints, conduct research, and negotiate solutions to ensure guest satisfaction.
  7. Receive, relay, and manage guest messages effectively.
