Job summary

Mauna Lani Auberge is seeking an Overnight Guest Service Attendant to be the first impression of the resort, setting the tone and pace from the start. You will handle front office tasks and guest servicing during the stay, ensuring a luxurious, seamless experience for guests in a fast-paced environment.

Experience in luxury hotel front desk and cashiering is preferred, with strong communication skills and the ability to manage multiple tasks efficiently.

Job Description

The base salary for this position is $27.16 hourly.

During the overnight shift, our Guest Service Attendant will be one of the guests' first impressions of the resort, and this person holds a very important role. This person sets the tone, pace, and vibe of the resort from the start. He or she will handle all aspects of front office work and guest servicing during the guest's stay, ensuring total and complete satisfaction. The successful candidate will work in a fast-paced and high-volume work environment and provide a consistent luxury guest experience. Previous front office experience in a luxury hotel environment preferred.

• Welcome guests upon arrival, facilitate efficient check-in processes, provide room keys, and ensure accurate and timely check-out procedures.
• Address guest inquiries, concerns, and requests promptly and professionally, offering information about hotel services, local attractions, and amenities.
• Manage room reservations, confirm guest details, and assist in room assignments, ensuring accuracy and alignment with guest preferences.
• Handle and resolve guest issues, complaints, or challenges, finding effective and timely solutions to enhance overall satisfaction.
• Serve as a communication hub between guests and various hotel departments, ensuring smooth coordination of services and maintaining accurate records of guest interactions.

Qualifications

• Any combination of education and experience that provides the required knowledge, skills, and ability.
• High school graduate.
• Previous hospitality and cashiering experience preferred in a similar setting.
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
• Ability to handle multiple tasks efficiently.
• Familiarity with hotel management systems and basic computer skill.
