Job summary

The Harraseeket Inn & event House in Freeport, ME is seeking a friendly Guest Service Agent. This part-time role (20–30 hours/week) covers afternoon and evening shifts, including weekends and holidays.

You will handle guest registration, reservations, and provide local information for a memorable stay. You are the first point of contact, greeting guests, managing bookings, processing payments, and resolving issues while maintaining a cheerful demeanor.

Qualifications

• High school education or equivalent required.
• 1+ year of experience in a related role.
• Proficiency in English is required.
• Willingness to learn new technology platforms.
• Ability to stand at front desk for long periods.
• Ability to lift/push up to 50 lbs. of luggage.

Responsibilities

• Manage online, phone and in-person reservations.
• Check guests in/out and provide keys and information.
• Respond to guest issues and complaints in a timely manner.
• Explain local amenities and attractions to guests.
• Maintain clean and organized work area.
