Guest Service Agent - Doubletree by Hilton Washington DC Crystal City (Finance)

The DoubleTree by Hilton Crystal City is seeking a full-time Guest Service Agent to join their Front Office team! This 627-room property is located half a mile south of The Pentagon near I-395, with the Pentagon City Metro station just a three-block walk away.

The ideal candidate will have a genuine passion for hospitality and be ready to deliver exceptional customer service to guests and peers. Experience in a fast-paced environment with heavy computer usage is highly preferred.

Shift Pattern:

Candidates should be available to work AM/MID/PM shifts, starting as early as 6:30 AM and finishing as late as 11:30 PM. Weekend and holiday availability is required.

Pay Rate:

$22.67 per hour

Responsibilities:
  • Greet guests, complete registration, input and retrieve information, confirm details, and assign rooms.
  • Assist with check-out, handle payments, process credit/debit cards, and manage foreign currency conversions.
  • Have thorough knowledge of hotel offerings, local area, and answer guest inquiries.
  • Use up-selling techniques to promote hotel services and maximize occupancy.
  • Respond to guest requests and resolve issues promptly and courteously.
  • Handle guest complaints, conduct research, and negotiate solutions for satisfaction.
  • Relay messages and communicate effectively with guests.
