Job summary

Churchill Downs Incorporated is seeking a Security Officer at Oak Grove to help maintain a safe and secure environment for guests and staff across three shifts. The role emphasizes professional interaction, incident response, and teamwork within a casino hospitality setting.

You will work across departments, monitor access, assist guests, and support security operations. A high school diploma is preferred, with prior customer service or security experience being a plus in a hotel/casino

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent preferred.
• Previous experience in customer service, hospitality, security, or a related field preferred.
• Experience in hotel, casino, or entertainment environment is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Provide outstanding customer service by greeting guests and assisting team members in a friendly, professional manner.
• Assist guests with directions, property information, questions, and resolution of minor concerns.
• Maintain a visible presence to promote a welcoming and safe atmosphere for guests and employees.
• Respond professionally to guest and employee incidents, accidents, or requests for assistance.
• Support safety and security of guests, team members, and property.
• Monitor access to restricted or secured areas as assigned.
• Observe and report safety concerns or suspicious activity to leadership.
• May transport money and chips in accordance with procedures.
• Operate company vehicles and/or equipment requiring a valid Driver’s License.
