Job summary

Ascent Hospitality is seeking a Room Attendant to clean guest rooms and assist with hallway cleanliness, maintaining public areas and restrooms. The role requires attention to detail and adherence to hotel procedures to ensure guest satisfaction.

Responsibilities include room cleaning, linen handling, supply replenishment, and reporting maintenance needs. A team-oriented approach, basic English communication, and flexible shifts are essential in a fast-paced hotel environment.

Qualifications

• Ability to understand, read, write and speak basic English.
• Ability to work flexible shifts.
• Must have excellent customer service skills.
• Must be able to work as a part of a team.

Responsibilities

• Clean multiple rooms daily, including changing linens, making beds, dusting, cleaning bathrooms, vacuuming and polishing furniture.
• Replenish supplies and restock carts.
• Clean corridors and stairways and maintain public areas.
• Transport trash and waste to disposal area; replace light bulbs as needed.
• Report maintenance issues to the proper department channels.
• Maintain inventory of supplies and ensure timeliness of cart stocking.
• Greet guests pleasantly and acknowledge them during room entry.
