Job summary

Coury Hospitality is seeking a dedicated Housekeeper in San Diego to Clean guest rooms and public spaces, maintain high cleanliness standards, and protect guest confidentiality. You will report to the Executive Housekeeper and may work evenings or weekends as needed.

Position is non-exempt, requiring reliable attendance, proper PPE use, and adherence to safety and sanitation policies. Prior housekeeping experience is helpful in a fast-paced hotel environment.

Qualifications

• Fluency in English is desirable.

• Ability to follow instructions accurately and work with minimal supervision.
• Commitment to punctuality and reliable attendance.
• Professional grooming and neat appearance are essential.
• Ability to perform under supervision and collaborate with the team.

Responsibilities

• Clean and disinfect guestrooms including bathrooms; dust, vacuum, change sheets, and tidy rooms.
• Restock towels and supplies; replace facial tissue and amenities.
• Use cleaning chemicals correctly and in accordance with OSHA and company policies.
• Maintain knowledge and safe use of housekeeping equipment.
• Keep carts and linen rooms organized and secure.
• Report maintenance issues to improve guest satisfaction.
• Handle keys and lost-and-found items responsibly.
• Follow all safety policies and use PPE when required.
• Ensure proper uniform and personal appearance at all times.
• Be aware of emergency procedures within the department and hotel.
• May work evenings, weekends, or overtime as needed.
• Assist with additional tasks as directed by the manager.
