Job summary

Excel Hotel Group is seeking an attentive Housekeeper to maintain cleanliness in public areas and guest rooms at our San Diego hotel. The role includes delivering amenities, laundry, and housekeeping tasks to guests while upholding brand standards.

The successful candidate will follow verbal directions, work a full shift standing and walking for extended periods, and assist with stocking and organizing housekeeping carts. Growth opportunities within the company are highlighted.

Qualifications

• 1-2 housekeeping or janitorial experience preferred.
• Ability to stand and walk for 8 hours in a day.
• Must be able to follow verbal directions, and complete assigned tasks on schedule.

Responsibilities

• Approaches all encounters with guest and employees in a friendly, service-oriented manner.
• Complies with company, hotel, and brand standards which encourage a safe and efficient hotel operation.
• Thoroughly cleans and maintains guest rooms according to standards—Including vacuuming carpet; changing linens; polishing mirrors; cleaning sink, toilet, tub, shower walls, shower curtain and floors.
• Completes all stocking and organizational duties, including stocking guest supplies, cleaning supplies, and linen for housekeeping cart set-up
