Job summary

Main & Vine is seeking a Room Attendant to maintain cleanliness of guest rooms and corridors in accordance with hotel procedures. You will stock supplies, greet guests, replace linens, and ensure rooms are secure and ready for occupancy.

This role requires basic literacy, physical stamina, and the ability to lift up to 50 pounds. Training is provided and teamwork with Housekeeping is essential to uphold high standards of service.

Qualifications

• Requires basic reading ability and comprehension.
• Ability to follow hotel procedures and safety guidelines.
• Ability to communicate with guests clearly and politely.
• Must be able to lift and move supplies as part of daily tasks.

Responsibilities

• Clean guest rooms and corridors daily according to hotel procedures.
• Stock supplies on the cart at shift start and end.
• Greet guests and respond to requests professionally.
• Replace linens and replenish guest room amenities as needed.
• Empty wastebaskets and maintain tidy public areas.
• Arrange furnishings and ensure doors are secured after cleaning.
• Report damages, hazards, or suspicious activity to supervision.
• Return found items with proper documentation to Housekeeping.
