Job summary

Residence Inn Birmingham Downtown at UAB is seeking a dedicated hotel housekeeping team member to maintain cleanliness and safety for guests and staff. You will perform routine cleaning, linen replacement, and restocking to ensure a welcoming environment.

Applicants should be able to meet physical requirements, follow cleaning procedures, and collaborate with coworkers to deliver exceptional service in a fast-paced hotel setting.

Qualifications

• Ability to scrub and scour surfaces, extend arms over head to perform cleaning tasks, and work in confined spaces.
• Must be willing to pitch in and help coworkers with their duties as part of a team.
• Experience or ability to follow cleaning procedures and use cleaning agents safely.
• Ability to push/pull equipment weighing up to 100 lbs with or without accommodation.

Responsibilities

• Maintain hotel rooms and building to ensure safe and clean experience for guests, associates, and vendors.
• Clean tub, toilet, sink, walls, mirrors, tiles, counters, and floor surfaces.
• Strip beds and change linens up to 50 lbs.
• Dust furniture, window ledges, and shelves; vacuum and empty trash.
• Restock amenities, linens, and supplies; manage room keys and cart restocking.
